Speaker Booking Terms

These Speaker Booking Terms are intended to provide general guidelines for booking Michelle Perdue for speaking engagements, workshops, performances, coaching events, appearances, and related services. Final terms for any engagement may be confirmed in a separate written agreement.

Booking Requests

Submitting an inquiry through this website does not guarantee availability or confirm a booking. All speaking engagements are subject to scheduling availability, mutual agreement on scope, and final written confirmation.

Services Covered

Speaker engagements may include, but are not limited to:

  • Keynote presentations
  • Workshops
  • Panel discussions
  • Performances
  • Virtual presentations
  • Coaching-related sessions
  • Special appearances or customized programs

Fees and Payment

Speaking fees vary depending on the event type, format, audience size, location, travel requirements, preparation time, and customization requested.

Payment terms will be outlined in a separate written agreement or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment schedules, deposits, and balances must be completed according to the terms provided at the time of booking.

Travel and Event Expenses

For in-person events, the client may be responsible for approved travel-related expenses, which may include airfare, ground transportation, lodging, parking, and meals, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Any travel arrangements or reimbursements will be addressed in the event agreement.

Customization and Content

Michelle Perdue may tailor presentations or programs based on the client’s audience, event goals, theme, or requested outcomes. Reasonable customization may be included as agreed in advance.

Excessive revisions, additional prep sessions, or substantial scope changes may result in additional fees.

Venue and Technical Requirements

The client is responsible for providing a safe, professional event environment and any agreed-upon technical support, including but not limited to:

  • Audio equipment
  • Microphone and sound support
  • Screen or projector if needed
  • Internet access for virtual or hybrid events if applicable
  • Reasonable stage or presentation space

Any special technical or staging requirements should be discussed in advance.

Recording and Media Use

No audio recording, video recording, livestreaming, rebroadcasting, or commercial reproduction of Michelle Perdue’s presentation, performance, or materials is permitted without prior written consent.

Use of event photos, clips, or promotional media should be approved in advance when required.

Client Materials and Information

The client agrees to provide accurate event details, including date, time, location, audience information, program expectations, and any deadlines needed for planning and delivery.

Cancellation by Client

If the client cancels an engagement after booking has been confirmed, any deposit paid may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

If cancellation occurs after substantial preparation, travel booking, or schedule reservation, the client may be responsible for incurred expenses and agreed cancellation fees.

Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule will be considered in good faith and are subject to Michelle Perdue’s availability. Rescheduling may require a new agreement or revised fee structure depending on timing and circumstances.

Cancellation by Speaker

In the rare event Michelle Perdue must cancel due to illness, emergency, travel disruption, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, any payments made for services not rendered will be refunded according to the written agreement, unless the parties agree to reschedule.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, acts of government, labor disputes, illness, transportation disruptions, internet outages, or other emergencies.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Michelle Perdue shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages related to any booking, appearance, or event.

Independent Contractor Status

Michelle Perdue performs services as an independent contractor unless otherwise agreed in writing. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, or agency relationship.

Governing Agreement

If a separate speaker agreement, proposal, or signed contract is executed for a specific engagement, that agreement will control in the event of any conflict with these general booking terms.
